THE SEE-THROUGH TREND AT THE 2022 OSCARS RED CARPET DONE VERY CLASSY!

The Oscars happened this past weekend. On Sunday March 27 to be precise and so did the Will Smith and Chris Rock slap incident. I am not sure how else I would have found out about this prestigious event had it not been for the Will and Chris incident really because I’m not too sure how the news of the Oscars 2022 taking place on Sunday slipped me.

However, it is all the red carpet trends that we’re here for! In terms of color it seems that the color black was a favorite across the board of course by that meaning from the Oscar’s red carpet to the after party, Vanity Fair After Party. Sheer or otherwise ‘see-through’ trended as well and that precisely is what caught my attention because really…as for anything else, well…nothing else seemed unusual or worth talking about where fashion and style was concerned.

Here’s 12 of the best dressed from the Vanity Fair After Party rocking the diaphanous trend..

Gabriel Union in Valentino Haute Couture
Kelly Rowland in Jean Louis Sabaji
Karolina Kurkova
Lory Harvey in Tony Ward
Nina Senica
Chloe Bailey
Normani
Molly Sims
Vanessa Getty
Halsey in Dolce & Gabbana
Despite the Will Smith and Chris Rock drama unfolding at this year's Oscars, it was an amazing moment to see Will Smith himself pick up his Oscar for Best Actor in King Richard (2022)right that very moment and of course Samuel L. Jackson finally being presented with the Academy Honorary Award to which Spike Lee congratulated him sighting "Finally"!
